My dog is very nervous or anxious. Can they still get groomed?

At what age should my puppy have their first grooming session?

We recommend bringing your puppy in for our Puppyâs First Groom session around 12 to 14 weeks of age, or once they are fully vaccinated. This initial visit is a gentle, positive introduction to the sounds of the clippers, dryers, and water.

What happens if my dogâs coat is badly matted?

If your dog has severe matting, we put their comfort and safety first. Dematting a heavily knotted coat can be very painful and distressing. In line with the Animal Welfare Act, we will discuss the best options with you upon arrival, which may involve safely clipping the coat shorter to start fresh.

Do you require dogs to be fully vaccinated?

Yes, for the safety and health of all the furry clients visiting our Werrington salon, we highly recommend that all dogs are up-to-date with their standard routine vaccinations before their grooming appointment.
